1/16 Orc Bust

Finished quite a few months ago, but as I've been busy with other projects both model building and real life, I have only just gotten around to taking a few photos of the finished piece. I borrowed a small light box from a friend, as try before I buy kind of deal. Comments and criticisms always welcomed and thank you for looking.

Those eyes are just superb! Focal point of this bust, I’d say.

Great painting. I love the detail of the ground down teeth. 

 

The photos came out well except they appear a little desaturated on my screen. Maybe a little less exposure would give a better view of the colours?

Advice noted. I'll be the first to admit that my photography skills blow chunks. Not saying it was the light booths fault, but it didn't have the ability to adjust the lights colour temperature, and I know that fluorescent/LED style light does de-saturate green tones. Once the evil day star returns, I will take the bust outside and use natural light to see how much of a difference it makes to the photographs. I'll upload those photos here.

Same light booth, just taken outside to use ambient daylight.

 

 

 

 

 

Can definitely see a tonal difference in the green between the two light sources.
