U-Boat Type XXVIIB Seehund 1:72 ICM

Hello fellows,

 

Let me show you my latest project. The midget submarine, U-Boat Type XXVII Seehund, in 1:72 By ICM.

The built was straighforward, without issues. Only a bit of putty and some sanding were needed, but overall Ok. The main drawback of this kit, is that the dome provided is not in clear plastic; and I decided to paint it in white.

All model was airbrushed and weathered with Vallejo Air Model. I enjoyed it, it's was and easy and fun work.

Very nice. I used a piece of shaped and polished sprue to replace the dome on my build.

I was disappointed with the torpedoes too, not up to the standard of the rest of the kit and lacking in detail.
