Lashenden
Shameless begging: Does anyone know of a cost-effective source for the 1/35 British MkIII 'turtle' helmet? (I only need one!)
Lashenden
I bit the bullet and ordered the Ultracast set. I hope they're good.
JackG
As far as I can find, Ultracast is your best bet. The only other option would have been MiniArt's WW2 infantry set, and they don't include the helmet liners. regards, Jack

JackG
Ah yes, if you need a figure wearing the helmet, Hornet would be the way to go. Ultracast also makes replacement heads with that style of helmet. regards, Jack
Lashenden
The Ultracast are possibly the most expensive pieces of resin I've ever bought, but I'll use them all I'm sure. I bought the helmets as I want to plonk one on the head of a Miniart tank crewman to make an early 1945 a/t crewman. JackG
Resin figures are quite expensive, but Ultracast has very decent price compared to other brands. It's pretty nutz that three full figures in resin can cost more than an afv kit. regards, Jack
