FWIW it looks like the left-hand model in the pic needs a file running over his left helmet fin - there's a little crumb of metal or something? Yup, the original colour was black all over; I don't think I'll use it and go for dark grey with a black wash. Any extraneous bits will likely get hacked off during painting.
