Phil Reeder
Would not a kit of the first British Battleship,HMS Warrior,be a good subject for them to produce?Perferably in 1/400th.This vessel has been restored, and I believe to be in Portsmouth. It would make a smart model,in her Victorian black hull and buff upperworks. After all, they have a kit of the Belfast, and Victory. Why not a Warrior? CPNGROATS
1/600 scale would seem to fit into their existing warship line... Cheers, ggc
AnonymousA667
Do a Google map search for HMS Warrior. You will find the ship just above Portsmouth Harbour Rail Station with satellite view switched on. It would make an excellent model subject, although I would prefer one of the larger 'galleon' scales for such a fine masted vessel. The folks over at The Airfix Tribute Forum might disagree a little bit with your thinking seeing as they are running a campaign for a 1/600 HMS Dreadnought, but I'm sure many would be sympathetic with this idea. peebeep
CPNGROATS
I have the Airfix, H.M.S. Iron Duke(WWI), and H.M.S. Warspite(WWII) kits in 1/600. I'm in favor of the effort to issue a 1/600 kit of the H.M.S. Dreadnought..and a kit of the HMS Warrior would be nice to.. Rock on Airfix..!
