Hi Pals, Hi Pals, I end this kit, which has been quite enjoyable to build and paint, which includes a fairly decent interior and which I decided to do, although in this specific case, not much is seen, even with the hatches open, if we disassemble the turret, something else if it is visible. I have tried something new with this model (the truth is that I almost always do it ... lol), since I continue learning and improving what I already know how to do, and that is that the internet is a very useful resource, since it is not possible for me to share with nobody the hobby in person (now, even less). Oils are definitely something very useful when it comes to painting, and even weathering on models, and it is also the first one with which I use satin varnish, trying to get a feeling of something "metallic", which I think is achieved by impacting the light in certain parts, I hope the photos show it, because in my hands, if I can make the mental abstraction that "it is not plastic" ... lol Thank you all very much for watch and comment, and for the tips that have corrected at least a couple of errors (there are 2 less ... lol), I hope you like it. Hi All. Here my RaupenSchlepperOst (RSO) from Italeri converted in ambulance. It was an hard job as Italeri kit was nice but terrible to work! The rear compartment was completely built from Evergreen plastic foils. Interior cab was scratched using some kit parts and Eduard pe. Tracks from Friul, side red cross are decals while top red cross was painted with airbrush and stencils. Anyway, I'm happy for results. I'd like to built another RSO using Dragon kit but its cost is absolutely too high (+/- 50 GBpounds)!😟 Hope you like. Ciao Filippo

Hi Pals, a new model, this time it is a Stug IV Sdkfz.167 to 1/35 scale, from Italeri, which started in the WIP section, but which changed and was built to participate in the GB of PzIV of the forum and which ends today (if I'm not wrong). At first I was only going to make the kit, but seeing the GB works, I decided to give a base to the vehicle, and since it gave me time, there are a series of photos with the whole set. The kit has been somewhat complicated, because the fit is not good in fundamental pieces, and also added elements of PE, so I complicate more. In spite of everything it has served me to try and refine some skill, and the result is not all bad, I confess that I like how it was, although it can always be improved ... The base has been quite experimental, because it is the first one that I am serious about. I had components that I have accumulated over time in case they served me some day, and more or less "homemade" products, for the rest of the work. After trying enough, I was lucky with what I had, because there was no time to try anything else. UPDATE 00: Hi Pals, A new model, this time back to the 2nd WW, is the Stuart light tank, represented by an Italeri kit, (which can be an Academy rebox?), and which has been a gift. This model has always attracted me a lot, because although small, it has a lot of personality in my opinion. I never did one of these before, and there were options on the market at different scales, but in the end there were other models that took me away from it. The version that I like is the M3, in its different configurations, but not the M5, which with the addition of its turret, makes it lose its charm. The kit that concerns me, seems of quite quality, for the price it has, since it includes a fairly complete interior (it will be my first interior), and two sets of tracks, some vinyl and others link-to-link, I'll see for which I decide, because I am not going to do saggy, and what difficulty do the singles have ... It also includes leftover pieces, which are, I think, for the British version of the Stuart, the Honey, which I also love, and according to this one, later on it would be a candidate to build ... G'day All, This is a Italeri 1/35 Gun Truck built straight OOB with fictitious decals applied. Humbrol and Tamiya enamel paint applied with the hairy stick. I smashed this together as a bit of a mojo rejuvenator...……not sure if it's been as successful as I had hoped...…….😩 but at least its another model built from the stash! 👍

Hi Pals, I finish this small project, and here we can see the model as it has been finished. I think the result has been worth it, because above all, the original tracks were "horrible", with no hint of quality, all along with the antiquity that the kit had, made a revision necessary. The other improvements, have given a touch something different from the one I had when I finished it at the time, because the barrel gun is longer than the kit, and the revision / restructuring of the equipments, I think they have changed the aspect of the model as a whole. I added some snow with another new product, and a pair of antennas, because now I have where to expose the models, without risk to break them. Thanks for watch and comments and always. Hi Pals, Here is a new small project of the "Renove Plan" to which I am submitting some of my "old" kits ... lol. Today I decided to "attack" the M24 Chaffee de Italeri, which would be the second improvement attempt on him, and I would say it will be the final one. This time it will be a "third party" improvement, because basically I have acquired some new tracks and a barrel gun as well. Undoubtedly, the most ominous part of this model, were the tracks, which is the heel of Achilles of all these oldies that had saved, because the material with which they were made, besides being really bad, has turned out to be super-fragile . The cannon is also easy to replace, and it will surely provide quality at a minimum cost-effort. I have opted for some Bronco tracks, because the Friuls, I find excessive in terms of price for the kit in question. They seem to be quite good, and especially with a reasonably easy assembly, at least for me. Some pics with the model finished, at it was Thanks for watch and comment, cheers mates 👍

M4A1 SHERMAN 1/35 ITALERI Hi Pals, here is the Sherman for the occasion, finally finished, not exactly as I thought at first, but IMHO, it's not bad at all .... As I mentioned in the thread of the GB, I had problems with the choice of what the kit would look like, first, U.S. Army of choice of Italeri, then U.S. Winter Camo, and finally something with a British accent ... more or less with the resources that were available ... What to say about the tracks, the ones that the kit brought, when they were already fixed and painted, ended up collapsing ... damn ... fortunately, I had the others from the same kit that I did about 1 century ago (I really did them in the last century ... lol), and interestingly they had better quality than the most recent ... "Twilight Zone ....". Some shots in detail... Some shots closer... Thanks for watch and comment as always, cheers mates

HI Pals, Now I have an interval of time and I'm going to start with the Sherman kit I have for Britmodeller's GB. It's all about an oldie, the M4A1 at 1/35 of Italeri. I had it stored in a closet about 15 years ago, and I did not buy it at the time, it came as a gift for deliveries in a collection of Osprey house books on armored vehicles. It's not my favorite Sherman, because it combines cast iron hull with 76mm long cannon, for my taste, hull with straight sides and short barrel, it attracts me more, but at the moment it is what I have available (I should not buy more kits until I do site ... lol). For the time that this kit has, it is not so bad, it includes a lot of detail, although the tracks will surely give me problems, because I have already finished other kits "brothers", and have almost always ended up breaking, because the plastic must be bad for the passage of time. I think I can get a decent result at least, although from what I've seen a little, there are already many models started (some finished), and the average level is very high. I hope to hurry, because there is less time ... Cheers mates

hi Pals, For this occasion, so close to Christmas, and with the cold that it is doing (or is already doing..lol), I present a model very much in keeping with the dates we are living, it is a Panther by Italeri, a whole oldie. This is the 4th model that welcomes what I have called "Renove Plan", because I was already assembled before joining the forum, and with this if I started to take pictures, but not the process, if already finished, with the first smartphone that fell into my hands (I'm not an enthusiast of them, I prefer to modelling) ... very bad and I with very little experience of use, so the quality of the photos is quite low. This kit if I remember that it is the first one I did completely from scratch, and I have to say, that I thought it was a good kit, with more detail than I expected, even included the option to add Zimmerit, which I really liked. It is true that this kit at the time of its release, suffered from errors of accuracy, but as I had it, and it was starting, I decided to give it a try, it was also a PANTHER (I love cats and their derivatives ...lol) . The Zimmerit option was to add plastic plates, to the corresponding sides, and fortunately that was included, because without them, the union between pieces of the hull, left large gaps, quite difficult to fix, but with them on top, arranged. .. When I was picking up the hobby, my skills were in a lethargic state, I did not know very well that I was going to get out of this pile of plastic, and the means and resources I had were quite few, as I did not have pigments, washes, and so on. to do what is necessary (I would have given almost the same, because I had not used them before either). You can see that the splashes of snow are droplets of white paint, and dust and mud, what you can get with paint. In spite of everything, modestly, I was surprised, I liked it very much as it was, I did not expect it, because on several occasions, I was about to throw it away. At first, my idea was to make a tritone camo, but when I saw how I was left, AAARRRRGHHH !!!, horrible, then only Dunkelgelb, ugly, ugly ... a third attempt with Panzer Gray, and I almost got something more agreeable , and finally, why not add a little white here and another over there ... result BINGO !!!. Once with the winter camo, I began to test my skills in the new world of weathering. The final result I liked, I added some little things like the grids of the engine, and the tracks were glued with CA glue, but they ended up detaching, so I used seton to attach them to the wheels, a process that I would not like to repeat, for its difficulty and risk of breakage ... After about 3 years, I will try to improve it, only with weathering and some equipment detail, I will not play the tracks or the canyon,I think the damage would be very difficult to fix or impossible.
