    Decided against my better judgement to fix the weird treatment they gave to the wing undersurfaces. There's 2 and a half hours I'll never get back but I feel better about it.

    I must say the detail level is much better than I expected for such a small model. Kudos to Revell!

    It is moulded in red plastic but looks really garish and "plasticky" so I will be painting over it anyway

    Just found out about this. I did one of these back last January and it was a lot of fun. I'm going to shoot for the 24 hour category because I work best under a deadline. Starting noon tomorrow (Christmas day here.) I'm in Seattle USA so according to my timezone offset calculations plus the international dateline that gives me till January 7th or something. I should be able to make it. 😉
