The Reason the Revell sales was so cheap was the debt owed by both companies both Revell Germany and Revell USA. If some of the tooling is in China and money is owed, there is a chance of it going to the scrap man. If Revells new owners have deep pockets and can settle the outstanding debt in China no problem. If its not done quick scrap yard it will go, as one poster stated international Business law means sod all in China. A number of Diecast brand that we once imported are now in the scrap yards, due to debt, the Chinese Gov does not like debt full stop.

Tiger Hobbies are importing in very small numbers a new range of 1/32 Plastic (soft) Soldiers from the Vietnam period. These are the best sculptured figures i have even seen in the toy soldier world, but are very expensive at just over £50.00 per set of 6 figures. These are proper 3D Poses (normally plastic toy solders are 2D in pose) The are artisan figures from a small company in Russia and we are only importing about 6 of each set. I could understand that pricing if it was the only kit available but considering you can get the equally as nice bandai kit for a measly £38 then it boggles the mind . Revell have got a total licence for all Star Wars products plastic kits sold in Europe. You are correct there is the Bandi version but under the licence agreement Bandi Star War can no longer be sold in Europe. There are one or two back door dealers with Bandi Star Wars in the UK but, they will be on a sticky wicket if Disney/Revell Legal department find out, they are selling them in the UK.
