  1. Hi, After building 6 models over 20 years (with some time out for forays into model railways and sailing ships) I recently started this kit. Phew, the inner framework almost needs jigs and fixtures to assemble and glue. You Mick have also helped but I am still not into the framework. Congratulations on your fine wrk. Ray
  2. By the way I didn't tell you whst a greatpaint job you did on the pilot painting. You mudst have gone to srt school.Plse let me know you received both my replies regards Raymond
  3. I'm having trouble glueing/assembly of the cross struts on the inside structure of this kit. I don't know how to join them without a jig fixture of some kind. Superglue doesn't work . Any suggestions from more experienced modelers appreciated. Raymond
  4. Looks like the real thing, I'm swanking a bit but read my background and you'll see why I especially appreciate your nice workmanship. Cheers, Ray (gabbro)
  5. One trick I picked up is based on the fact that RAF personnel did not have a hard line between the brown and green camoflage paint. To get this authentic effect on the model; you take some sticky paper tape and double it over then stick it on the section you have painted already and then stick the mask on it to leave the unpainted section ready to spray. This makes a slight height difference for the unsprayed part then you airbrush the second camo color using the higher masked edge as a cliff over which you spray to produce a non distinctive sprayed line where the second color meets the edge of the first. Hope I have not confused you. Cheers, Raymond Sorry I meant camouflage. R
  6. Hi Rich, would it be poss to see another pic of instr panel back. What a great piece of modelling Regards
