SaintsPhil Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Morning all, Here's my second entry, but first finished, to the Tornado STGB. It's the fantastic Revell 1/72 Tornado kit, the Black Thunder boxing. It was a pleasure to build and the decals went down surprisingly easily! The only thing I've added is a master metal pitot. The base in the last pic I actually made for the F3 (my other GB entry) but I couldn't resist taking a pic of this on it! Comments and critiscm welcome! Phil

Python66 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Great looking Tornado ! I love it. You did a great job on the decals. Hardly any silvering. Nice wheatering on the thrust reverser. Excellent job !

The decals really are very good, well thought out, there's very little unnecessary clear areas, hence little silvering! Fortunately another BMer posted the sane kit in RFI and he'd had silvering on the wing decals so I cut out all the clear areas from these just in case! Worth doing if you do attempt this kit. Phil
