MH-60R

Hey guys, wonder if one of the rotorheads here can help,

i want to build a MH-60R for a friend of mine who's birthday is coming up, what would be the best kit to use as a base? id prefer to work 1/35 (which would be the MH-60G i assume) but if its a real ball ache to convert to a Romeo would work in 1/48 and i believe there are a few more options in this scale, any advice would be appreciated

In 1/48 your best (only) bet is the Italeri SH-60B kit. But you'll be doing a fair bit of scratchbuilding.
