Major Eazy Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 (edited) I have been doing model kits since I was a kid so I have done models for about 30 years of my life and in that whole time, have only used paintbrush. I believe I once used a can of spray paint for the Bell helicopter in Playboy markings and made a mess of it, apart from that, I never used airbrush as most of the kits I did were usually 1:72 aircraft and a few 1:48 too. Plus some others like tanks, starships, etc. Becuase I have USS Voyager which is quite big for a paintbrush and I think my best friend is planning on getting me a 1:24 Hurricane from Airfix for Xmas, I figure it is time for me to start using airbrush for large model kits that need a lot of area painted. I have never used airbrush and I will be looking up various sources to learn about it, I'm just wondering if there is anyone in my area, member of this Britmodeller, who would be happy to teach me by showing me how it is done. The best way to learn is to watch how the master use the tool. Before anyone suggest i use YouTube or something like that, I have to point out I have slow Internet and out of date Windows, so it wouldn't be much use, but I would be interested if anyone would be happy to show me how to do it. PS: I live in Worcestershire but would be happy to travel as far as I can. Edited August 14, 2010 by Major Eazy
denstore Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 It might help if you tell us where you live. Probably not close to me, but someone might be close.
