1/48 Hobbycraft A-4e/f Aggressor Skyhawk

Hello all,

I've seen that these are a much cheaper alternative to a Hasegawa Skyhawk + Decals for an aggressor scheme. I'm not too bothered about cockpit or finer detail points, I'm just wondering whether it's accurate shape-wise and whether it goes together ok. It's not going to be Hasegawa quality, but is it still decent?

It definitely is!

This is the same kit, built as an Israeli A-4H.

Once painted and finished, looks the real thing!

I think the major complaint with the Hobbycraft kit is that the cockpit (and therefore the canopy) is slightly too wide. As for me, that isn't really an issue. I'll build the HC kits I've got.
