gcn Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 This is my entry for the GB, I may follow it up with a Swordfish but time may be against me. It's my first sea creature and I'm looking forward to a quick construction and lots of painting & weathering, I'm just not relishing drilling out all the flood holes. One minor problem is this, I may take it back but it is easily fixed. If I decide to fix it myself I hope to start tomorrow if not I will be delayed by a week, no biggie really
Daniel Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Mine had exactly the same issue! Easily filled though. Dan
gcn Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 I could really do without using Revell paints for this build but I'm having a hard time finding equivalents. I would prefer Tamiya, Gunze, Vallejo, Xtracrylix in that order for the following Granite Grey - Revell 69 Dust Grey - Revell 77, Humbrol 79 ? Gunship Grey - Revell 74 Hellgrau - Revell 76 Anthracite Grey - Revell 9, Humbrol 85 Any help would be very welcome
Iain Ogilvie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I used the White Ensign Kriegsmarine colours on my U-Boat - superb quality - highly recommended! Iain
