I'm doing some of the UM Soviet armoured railcars and plan to scratch-build some others - hopefully the vehicles used by the British in Palestine and India in the 1930s. Details anyone, please? vonmarkenhausen Posted November 10, 2010 Share Posted November 10, 2010 I got an interest in it myself, mainly WW2 german stuff, or armoured cars converted to run on rails.A lot of eastern font German armoured trains were a tad ad hoc. Reinforced box carriages with T-34 or T-26 turrets fixed on top! Not much about in the train world that matches up to 1/35th or 41mm track. Apart from Trumpeter or some eatern european kit makers. Revell/Dragon and Trumpeter are the most common. RPM have done some Russian stuff . Can sometimes find their kits on e-bay.
