  1. The French publisher, Ailes de Gloire, has a title which includes details of his F-5 at least. If memory serves, he spent some time in the US after the French surrender and did not return until after the fall of the Vichy regime - this would man that he did not serve with the FAFL.
  2. Thanks for all the details.
  3. Were these a/c repainted in the green/black/light blue scheme late in the war?
  4. I have some photos of the La-9 and -11 in the Chinese Aviation Museum if you're interested.
  5. I've looked into this a bit and there seems to be two schools of thought: - blue fuselage/yellow wings - green fuselage/yellow wings As far as I can find out, there is some debate about photos allegedly taken at Madrid and no authenticated shots of the 281 in Spain have surfaced.
  6. Thanks for the details. I was hoping to get an HP or P-G drawing.
  7. Can anyone please provide details of this ventral mounting/fairing as fitted to Halifaxs. Thanks.
  8. Can anyone tell me a stockist of this kit please? They don't seem to have made it here to Oz.

    See Shops/Vendors

for details of resin conversions from Platypus Publications.
  11. It seems that the RAAF Lightnings were not F-4s but field modifications of standard fighters. The camera ports were slightly different from the F-4.
