yeehah1
14-07-07 I bought a bottle of Humbrol Clearfix from a hobby shop that used to sell model kits awhile ago. Is this the stuff they used to use to put "glass" in the old airfix civil airliner kits? If so, what's the best way to apply it? Thanking you in advance Liam
zeke
I always used to use it as a glue for the transparent parts but I did make some VC-10 windows once and i just put a little drop at the top of the window opening and then with a cocktail stick I 'pulled' it down over the hole so it formed a kind of skin. then just let it dry and hey-presto! A window. This was done after paint of course and it's a pretty delicate affair but that was about 3 years ago and the windows are still there so it does work. hope that helps a little?
