Casey Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 I'm posting this from a thread in AFV forum since it is related to paints. This color recipes are for 1956 version of FS595 (not 595A) 34087. This color had been changed in future version of Federal Standard. The only correct color in FS is the one from 1956 version. I am lucky enough to have an original 1956 copy of FS, and I have a spectrophotometer so I can give you all the information about the color and mixes of the paints. Tamiya Acrylics Recipe (VOLUME BASED) 34087 Target: #585545, Mixture: #575443 XF-1 Flat Black: 3 parts XF-3 Flat Yellow: 4 parts XF-7 Flat Red: 2 parts D65 (daylight) DE00: 0.47 Warning, this is a metameric match.
