Type 59 coming from Hobbyboss

Hobbyboss are delving into the T-54/55/clone market with a Type 59-1.  A brave decision faced with the undoubted excellence of the range of Miniart offerings of this series.  However, sprue shots suggest a much simplified construction compared to Miniart with slide-moulded one-piece gun barrel and fuel drums plus optional vinyl or plastic mantlet covers and a small etch fret.  At least some fuel tank piping seems to be provided.  Maybe we will see some of the less common derivatives such as the N Korean versions, an Iraqi 59-II etc.
