Sairou
I moved into university in September, been busy since, so this is my first post in what feels like a long time. This is a recent ebay acquisition, an old ICM kit boxed under Revell. They're decent figures, but the faces are a bit lacking, and for some reason every soldier is missing a strap for the gasmask (of course the way around this would simply be to portray them without the gasmask cases). Also, the painting guide in the instructions has an issue, that being the faces. It'd be easiest for me to just post a pic... hmmmmm...
Mitch K
I see what you mean! As an illustrator, the guy that did those is no Angus McBride, is he? 1
Sairou
These are SS men, I've been researching the uniforms and insignia, and I think I should be able to get it right. Don't know if I'll decide to model a particular SS division, or just a generic one.
Sairou
Been working on these on and off today in between uni work. Going to try and get each figure basecoated and given a wash. Thinking about a possible diorama of an SS unit advancing on the Eastern Front. I just need to establish some kind of narrative for it.
