When I reviewed Eduard's last set of photo etched brass accessories for Hobbyboss's USS Wasp, I complimented Eduard for finding an area of the kit that wasn't covered by the comprehensive photo etched brass included. Now Eduard are back with an even more comprehensive set to jazz an already excellent kit up even further.

The set is comprised of two frets of brass parts, one larger than the other. Included on the first fret is a veritable Smörgåsbord of doors, windows, ladders and stairways, none of which were included on the frets supplied by Hobbyboss. The doors can be posed either open or closed, which helps to add to the sense of realism. Enough railings are supplied to run right around the deck immediately below the flight deck, which should look extremely impressive once finished. Also supplied are completely new radar antennas, as well as smaller details such as hose reels. There are also parts for detailing the aircraft lifts, various platforms and the safety nets around the edge of the flight deck.

Conclusion

Although the description may sound brief, the sheer amount of railings, doors, stairways and other bits and pieces is simply astounding. Nothing finishes a model warship off like fine photo etched parts, and with this set Eduard have included everything youll need to make the most of the excellent Hobbyboss kit. Recommended.
