totoy14
It's about time a model manufacturer came out with an accurate kit of this famous ship! One could convert the Trumpeter USS Hornet but there are almost uncorrectable inaccuracies & the parts needed to convert them to the USS Enterprise are too expensive & hard to find. I'm sure this would sell well, specially in the U.S. as it's the most glorious & honored ship of the US Navy & was even awarded the Bitish Admiralty Pennant, the only non Royal Navy ship to be given one! A lot of people questions the wisdom of not converting it to a museum instead of being scrapped. I would wish for a model showing her in 1944 with options for the 1942 version when she had 1.1" AAA at the Battle of Midway.
Shar2
I quite agree, a good accurate IM kit of the Enterprise is much needed. The Yankee Modelworks resin kit looks great, but the price is eye watering.
