Hello everyone … seems like I’m trying to make up for lost time lately. I picked up one possibly two builds to keep my momentum up. Both in 1/48 and both Spitfires. The 1st is a Special Hobby Mk. XII that I started in my multi Spitfire build up in WIP. It will be a 595 Squadron bird. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235108243-my-multi-spitfire-build/ The second is an Academy Mk.XIV high back that was a gift from my mentor. It was started approximately 15-20 years ago. I will add photo’s as soon as I can get to my office tomorrow. Dennis Mk.XII: Mk.XIVc: Not sure which markings for the Mk.XIV yet but Im angling for SEAC.

Hello Everyone … I present to you my P-38J in the markings of Philip Goldstein’s “Jewboy”. There are links in the build thread to more info on Lieut. Goldstein. Ive wanted to do this plane since I first saw a photo. I was able to secure a sheet of decals made by Kagero through another member. This is the 1/48 Academy kit and Ive done my best to re-create the plane. If you would be interested I have added a link to the build thread. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments or add thoughts. Dennis

Having seen the earlier postings on the building of this kit, I had to have one. Delivered from Korea cheaper than buying one in the UK! Having finished my latest SAC creation, I figured it was time to start this gem. It will be an OOB build, especialy as there are no aftermarket bits as far as I'm aware. Comments have been made about the sit of the model, but I cannot for the life of me, find out where the problem lies. So, I'm just going to plod on. First things first, the cockpit. Nicely detailed as is, so I've just added some tape belts to the rear seat. I intend to have one of the pilots sat in the front one. The only omission I can see, are the two small camreas???? on the rear panel hood next to the rear view mirrors. A couple of sprue bit for these methinks. Here's where it's up to after a day's work. More to come (hopefully). W
