Lovely result! I have the LS model in the stash awaiting my return to the hobby: you've set a high bar with that model.

Impeccable result! Thanks for posting.

It never occurred to me that there'd be a 1/32 Bf110, but it's perfectly logical. Fantastic build and beautifully finished.

Great build and the first three shots are well life-like/dramatic! Thank you.

A pretty little aircraft, nicely rendered! Thanks for posting. I harbour ambitions to build a free flight peanut scale one of these from old Aeromodeller plans.

Having built a vacform biplane in the past, I know from experience that's a heck of an achievement there.

Aww, I have a soft spot for that old Frog kit, having built it when I was a kid. I am so jealous of the camo finish - I could never have achieved that with my simple humbrol airbrush. Kudos for capturing the feel of the box art in your photography!

I like the matt finish with no silvering on the transfers. Nicely done.

That's visionary! Is it too late to make it happen?

Great result! I like how the markings look chipped and worn as opposed to being fresh transfers. Am I right in thinking you paid a little more weathering attention to the unit and field markings than the centrally applied national markings?

Nice build and convincing, thoughtful NMF! What are the round, dark panels in front of the wings?

Back in the 70s I used pre-mixed polyfilla from the tube for plastic models. It didn't fall off, you could blend in with a wet finger and it took a decent finish and unlike Humbrol model filler, it wasn't harder than the surrounding plastic.
Amazed you can get dark earth dulux though. Is that one of their heritage ranges?

Contrail "1/72" Supermarine Southampton **Intermission - "Use the Force, Luke"
in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Posted
Oh boy! Does this bring back memories. I built the Contrail Southampton back in the late 70s. Teenage me entered it in the Model Engineer Exhibition - boxed it up and posted it. I have no idea how it fared at the other end, but most of the bits came back in the box, so there's that. There may have been a certificate of entry or something.
