Need your help!
Anyone have a source of photo etch valve hand wheels, need 2/3/4/5/6/8 mm in diameter.
Thought I'd found a place in Germany 12 euro for 5 sheets....right on!!
17 euro for postage I think not !

Bringing you right up to date
I'm well pleased with the result
Some facts you may well find amusing..
I have to date glued together SIX pieces of the MAS boat kit !
The kit consists of approx. 250 pieces !
So far I have assembled nearly SIX HUNDRED bits of wire, plastic, brass, aluminium & wood in producing the engines & engine room !
Does this mean the kits good value or I'm nuts

Don't know if anyone is interested but here is how I scribed in my engine room deck
The key is don't try and do it all in one go....
Use as many pieces of template as you need to follow shape and stick them together as you goIt can of course be done with hull shapes or though this simple. For a curved hull, just scribe smaller bits to the shape a keep sticking together
Hope it helps )

Right got some questions for you lot....
1. Does anyone know what colour torpedoes are, everyone seems to have a different idea?
2. On the MAS boat was the hull planking double diagonal or longitudinal? Really need this for my thoughts on diorama.
3. Anyone have any pictures of wheelhouse4. Confirmation of antifouling colour?
Thanks for lookingUnlikely but if anyone wants to question me pls feel free

Hi Folks,
My first post on here and my first kit for more years than I care to remember !
So be gentle with me
I have all the Italeri boats in my stash and I thought the MAS boat would be a simple start .
Then I saw this blog on Model Shipwrights http://modelshipwrights.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=169007&page=1
Slippery slope...
Started by building a launch cradle to display it on
Built out of balsa and plastic profiles.
