  1. I picked up all three of these in the ModelZone 3 for 2 sale. I can confirm that the Viper II still has the resin pilot and that the decals appear to be new. They're all marked 'Revell GmbH & Co. KG. A subsidiary of Hobbico Inc. Printed in Italy.' and have a 2012 copyright.
  2. I'd like to join, if that's OK? I'm looking to do a 1/35 vehicle, and currently the Tamiya M8 Greyhound (with PE and extras) is top of the list of likely candidates. Carl.
  3. Airfix do a Val as well? Interesting, not on their website. Guess it's OOP. If it's an old kit, I think I'd rather avoid it anyway. Before I did the Revell JU88 I made an Airfix Sturmovik, which was obviously an old one. Have to say I wasn't impressed. The wing shape looked all wrong, and it was a bit 'basic'. I'll take a look for Fujimi then. Thanks for the advice.
  4. Hi, I'm new to the forum and also a relatively new modeller - well, I haven't done much for about 25 years, anyway! Currently I'm building up my experience with a few Revell/Airfix 1/72 WWII aircraft (currently building the 'new' Airfix Hurricane I, just completed the Revell JU88 A-4). I fancy building a Japanese aircraft, preferably either a Val or a Kate, but I have no idea where to go to get one. Who are the best manufacturers of 1/72 Japanese aircraft? Does anyone have any recommendations, particularly for a Val/Kate? Thanks in advance! Carl.
