  1. I'd still like to see a model of the streamlined Clone Wars era Y-Wing. Don't get me wrong, I loved the standard Y-Wing, I've got a FM model of it but the streamlined ones looked nice as well. Also, a Juggernaut ground vehicle. I always got the impression the A-Wing was a fairly new fighter from the EU material, and the B-Wing was about the newest, but Rebels seems to hint that the A-Wing is far older than first thought, unless it's a very early mark.
  2. Well the question is, would YOU ask them for their papers?
  3. Hello, I've got the Revell Fairey Rotodyne which I know is a bit of an odd scale, something like 1:96. Personally I'd like to do a 'what if' scheme and wondered if anyone did Dan-Air, or Dan-Air London decals of that period that would fit with the Rotodyne. Or even something like BEA or BOAC.
  4. The latter ones are nice, but pricy, and the figures in the first link are from overseas, and knowing this country now, apart from delivery I would probably be hit by import duty. I'm even wondering if there are, or were any figures or figure sets in the vein of the old campus friends or Italeri truck accessories sets, ditto with equipment of that scale. I know things like nets, boxes and so on could be made, but anything else might be useful.
  5. I've got three vehicles, 2 1/25 scale vehicles, a car and a pickup kit, and a Revell 1/24 VW Samba. I'm wanting to make a 'convoy' of vehicles with some figures. I'm thinking zombie apocalypse or post disaster of some sort, but basically I want to make a survivor convoy. What figures in this scale that are suitable would be available? I picked up the old Campus Friends Tamiya set from IPMS Perth dirt cheap, but I'd like some drivers and general civilian figures. Some equipment would be nice as well. I'm aware of Italeris Truck accessory sets, one of which comes with some figures. Anything else around?
  6. Does anyone at present do a 1/48 scale Grumman Goose? I've been watching the old 80's series "Tales of the Gold Monkey" and fancy doing a Cutters Goose. I know the Airfix 1/72 is available but would prefer something a bit bigger. Jamiesons models in Glasgow had a Lindberg kit at 1/48 but I imagine that would be rather primitive. Does anyone else do it?
  7. Do you get hit with customs charges if ordering from HLJ?
  8. Do you have to get them from HLJ or is there a European distributor?
  9. No resin pilot, its a decent trade as the injection moulded one with the Mark VII was good anyway. I'd really like to see a Raptor as the potential for different fits are decent.
  10. Question is, will the Mark II have the Resin pilot in its Revell re-release? Also, it would be nice to see what the Galactica goes for as I felt it was just too expensive. It would be nice, but unlikely to see the Moonbus also rereleased. I know what is meant about Amerang. My local model shop which is a small scale place tried to open an account with them. They misquoted his order billing him about double the price he had been quoted. He sent everything back and closed the account. It also seemed that Amerang was notorious for having a lush catalogue with a lot of nice items but if you asked for them a lot weren't available.
  11. Ive seen the Revell newsletter that in October of this year, they will be releasing models of the Viper Mk II and Mark VII at 1/32 scale, and the Galactica at 1/4105 Are these the Moebius models rereleased? Links here, unfortunately not much info http://www.revell.de/index.php?id=203&KGKANR=0&KGKOGP=10&KGSCHL=1&L=1&page=1&sort=0&nc=&searchactive=&q=04987&SWO=&ARMAS4=&PHPSESSID=aefef2f7c51a893bf1e79b8ca2beeafd&KZSLPG=&offset=1&cmd=show&ARARTN=04987&sp=1&utm_source=08%2F2012+Sonder+NL+EN+%2F+email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Revell+Sonder-Newsletter+08%2F2012+%28EN%29 http://www.revell.de/index.php?id=203&KGKANR=0&KGKOGP=10&KGSCHL=1&L=1&page=1&sort=0&nc=&searchactive=&q=04988&SWO=&ARMAS4=&PHPSESSID=aefef2f7c51a893bf1e79b8ca2beeafd&KZSLPG=&offset=1&cmd=show&ARARTN=04988&sp=1&utm_source=08%2F2012+Sonder+NL+EN+%2F+email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Revell+Sonder-Newsletter+08%2F2012+%28EN%29 http://www.revell.de/index.php?id=203&KGKANR=0&KGKOGP=10&KGSCHL=1&L=1&page=1&sort=0&nc=&searchactive=&q=04989&SWO=&ARMAS4=&PHPSESSID=aefef2f7c51a893bf1e79b8ca2beeafd&KZSLPG=&offset=1&cmd=show&ARARTN=04989&sp=1&utm_source=08%2F2012+Sonder+NL+EN+%2F+email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Revell+Sonder-Newsletter+08%2F2012+%28EN%29
  12. Has anyone else seen the new D-7 from Revell? I got my local shop to get it in as it seemed to be a nice subject. Overall, with my brief look over, its closer to the Star Trek Movie era versions with the scribed panel lines and overall seems to be a nice kit that's also a reasonable size. Price as well is pretty good.
  13. At the Scottish Nationals at Perth I got hold of a 1/24 scale Italeri Armed Pick up. A Toyota of some sort. I was wanting to convert it into something from Mad Max style genres. Does anyone do any sort of 1/24 scale military accessories like decent figures, firearms etc?
  14. Mmm well that's a bit of a problem as I cant get Gunze paints locally. My model shop stocks Vallejo colours, though under pressure he's started stocking Tamiya.
  15. I've got one of these part built. What colour did you use for the base coat of the hull. I've preshaded the panel lines already, though I fear I'll have scewed it up.
