Mike Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Another distinctly British release from Freightdog models, and one that will be much welcomed by fans of those early anti-flash white V-Bombers. It's a set that is designed specifically for the modeller that wants to create a specific airframe, and is packed to the gunwales with alpha-numeric serials of various sizes, which have little notes on their proposed uses. There are also a healthy half sheet of anti-flash roundels with separate pink centres, fin flashes, and even a "City of Lincoln" badge for the Vulcan. A couple of bonus "Royal Navy" decals are included, along with some ejection seat triangles for the side of cockpits. As is usual with Freightdog decals, they printed by Fantasy Printshop, and are of the highest quality. I won't call them instructions, as they are more of a placement guide, given the variation in location and presence or absence of various of the markings on specific airframes. One example is the underwing codes on the Valiant, which seem to have been carried by some, not by others. It's key to check your reference relating to the airframe you are modelling, and Colin makes this very clear on the placement guide. Thanks to Colin @ Freightdog for the review sample. You can get your hands on a sheet of these limited release decals from Freightdog's website here. Snap 'em up before they're gone! Mike.
