I decided being an old vehicle that I would brush her,the prob being I  had a stroke a few years back leaving my right side pretty useless,so brushing is a  REAL pain dexterity wise - to give an idea try sitting wrng till yr arm goes numb and then try brushing with it....Not looking for sympthy - stuff that! just saying what's what.

I think the brush painting really suits the build - that finish pretty much matches the finish on wood panels on just about every veteran car I've seen. A really good end result.

I hope you won't mind too much if I put in one bit of (hopefully constructive) criticism and this is something I've been guilty of myself on occasion. The cylinder under the rear seat (I think it's the fuel tank?) leaps out at my eyes with that join, partly because of the brass finish, and to my eyes would look so much better if it was filled and sanded prior to painting. Is that something that you can manage with the after-effects of your stroke as to me it is the one let down on an excellent model?

Actually, scrap that second paragraph and I've just noticed looking at the sprue that that part is a pre-plated part, so there is very little you'd be able to do. I stand by the bit about it being an excellent model though:)
