Yes, it will be scenario against some AF without MiG-31 and its 400 km radar and against AF without ability to attack the AWACS! You are forgetting that R-37 and K-100 anti-AWACS have range of ~400km with passive, semi active and active radar homing. Even the fact that they warning system will indicate that they are on the AWACS crew screen will be enough for engaging the electronic counter measures. It is not so simple at all! It is in some movie scenario, but Russians are not stupid at all and im many fields that are ahead of USA... even Americans want to think that they are much behind!

But at the moment F-35 turn on its radar it is visible as the fire in the sky. Second, at the moment F-35 see the Su-27/30/35 on radar screen, R-27EP/П/AE is already launched and heading toward F-35 at 4.5 Mach with its range of 110km The passive seeker R-27EP out-ranges AMRAAM, and enemy won't know it's coming before it's too late. The active seeker R-27AE is dangerous for the same reasons as the R-27EP plus it won't stop homing if you shut down your radar. This is exactly the right question!!! What if? What is the back up plan? If F-35 flaws you will get a black whole in Air Force which will suck everything.
