NDB16
We're proud to announce two more books in our fast growing series of books for aircraft modelers and enthusiasts. Just in time for the 1/32 scale kits from Storm Factory (returning the pretty nice Kitty Hawk kits), the first new book is on the Northrop F-5. This is a 140 page book holding over 300 photos, showing every detail of the aircraft. The first 100 pages show the F-5 E/F/N from every possible angle and in some really cool action. The photos show the jet in service with the US Navy, Marines, but also Swiss AF or aircraft from Taiwan, Brazil, ... The last 40 pages of the book shows the F-5 A/BM in detail. The photos for these were mainly taken in Spain, where the Spanish Air Force continues to fly the upgraded F-5BM, but also in the Gardermoen Museum in Norway, where earlky versions of the jet were photographed. Here are some photos of the new book, which will be available by the end of April/early May. It is our 28th in the series (DH-028) Different versions of the cockpit are shown, both the single-seat version (F-5E & F-5N) and the two-seat version (F-5F) and the upgraded version. Included are the original ejection seat and the new US16J ejection seat. The latter is shown in great detail out of the aircraft as well. Also included: the Swiss AF F-5E cockpit. The cockpit of the A and BM are not forgotten and shown in every detail. Available from your favourite book or model shop in a few weeks! NDB16
One thing I forgot: a rare version of the F-5 that is also included in this book, is the Iranian Sa'eqeh, which is an F-5 modified with twin vertical tails. We had a chance to get a good close look at it, so we included the photos! Nic
