Thinning paint for airbrush

Bortig

Recommended Posts

VMA are airbrush ready, straight from the bottle (after much shaking to mix it up!)

However, many people like to thin them a little; especially for stuff like Luftwaffe mottling or spiderweb German AFV camo.

The fun is in the experimentation... ;)

I guess a successful atomization of the paint would depend on the air pressure used, though I am no expert on this subject matter.

Maybe acrylic paint can have more viscosity to it than enamel paints? Maybe I am wrong in thinking that all airbrush paint should have a milky substance to it?
