Welp, I know I'm jumping the gun on this. But today I got a early B-day present., You know, just what I need ANOTHER Flying Wing. But not just any wing but my Old XB-35's Grandson ,which I do need to finish ... Titan Models 1/48 scale Northrop B-2 Spirit It's not only HUGE... it has the thickest Vac plastic I've ever seen on a kit. .80(2mm) High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS). The sheets are as thick as any shake and bake kit. Even with thick plastic, the panel lines are fairly crisp. All kinds of neato resin parts. But plain enough I can really go to town detailing out the bays and yes even the flight deck, though most of that won't be seen. I'm going to do it in the livery of 509th BW A/C # 1066 Spirit of America. Though with that tail number I would have called it the Battle of Hastings. This WILL NOT be some slap and dash blitz build. I still have my B-47 siting on the bench waiting for parts and a couple of GB's trying to get finished. But I can work on the bays and such. And hopefully re-arrange the finished aircraft on my ceiling to make this fit. So fasten you seatbelts Ladies and Gents. This is going to be interesting. All comments, suggestions, and opinions of the state of my sanity are not only welcomed but obligatory. I would say I'm getting too old for this....stuff, but i feel like a kid in a candy hobby store. So let the insanity commence! I think I'm going to need a bigger keg 'O beer for this.
