LAU-7 Missile Rails
1/48 & 1/32 Bandit Resin Factory
Bandit Resin seem to be primarily producing parts you would see on normal peacetime modern jets as opposed to the weapons you would see on combat operations. This enables the modeller to build the jets they might see normally or at airshows. The LAU-7 series of guided missile launcher is a rail launcher originally designed to carry the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile family and instrumentation pods. The launcher carries and internal cooling source for infrared missile seeker cooling and a power supply. The LAU-7 has been adapted / upgraded to carry and launch additional munitions similar in size to the Sidewinder, such as the AIM-132 ASRAAM, and IRIS-T amongst others.
The Resin
Quite often kit parts are supplied to fit missiles to, whilst in a lot of cases they are in fact empty. These very well cast replacement rails have all the internal structures to be shown as empty and not just have a blank surface. While these are shown here in 1.32 they are available in 1.48 as well.
Conclusion
These are great looking rails for your modern Jet, all the parts are very well made. Highly recommended.
