Wait, is this a test shot that you built? Do you know if there are plans for an F-5A too?
Yeah, I know alot but I can't tell yet.

F-5E Tiger II in 1/72. It's a new tooling of early version, release by Dream Model.
It came with Two types of nose: Normal and shark nose.
8 markings for decal but I build the USAF one.
Also came with 2 each of GBU-10, MK-83, MK-82 and Sidewinders.
It's not out yet, but it will be release into market soon, REAL SOON.

Very well done, looks realy incredible. The kit is on my wishlist and if I will get a result as half as good than yours I´ll be happy.
You can, it's just OOB

Hello, this is 1/72 AH-1z Viper made by DreamModel.
OOB, Everything is included in this kit: folded-wings option, full weapons, PE, and also the trolley for tractor to pull the chopper. 3 scheme options for this helicopter. It's been released on 22 May 2020, modellers can get the kit at their nearest distributors. <removed self-advertising>

Fantastic result! Do you mind me asking how you achieved such a realistic looking tint to the cockpit glass?
Thanks, it's Hasegawa tint paper, very rare to find now, you can search on eBay or HLJ.

Dreammodel 1/72 Chinese Z-19 Attack & Reconnaissance helicopter. It's their latest released product and new tooling.
This is the t3 pre-production kit, it shared some parts with the dauphin and the canopy has not been completely polished.
I didn't follow its original marking because it's too damned ugly lol. I painted it with USMC AH-1Z Grey plus a shark mouth decal that can increase the fierceness.
Basically It's OOB. The details and fitting are very good, not much of decals too so it's beginner-friendly.
The actual building day is seven days.- 24

More to come:
VF-2 by Loo Chee Keong and VF-213 by HK Low, both are seasoned modellers who also participating in AMK F-14D Build-off Malaysia.

Where are the figures from?
Climbing pilot is from Sabre models, front seat candy crush guy is from Reedoak.

I think he will, lol. 1 week to go!

Lovely model - excellent build and finishing. I can however hear the purists shouting - Tomcats didn't park up with flaps, slats, spoilers, airbrakes etc etc deployed!
Looks a great kit but a lot of extra assembly work in my opinion for something rarely seen except at an airshow. What will the price be when compared to the Tamiya version?
Cheers
Malcolm
This is a sample from AMK so I decided to show everyone what AMK can offer on this kit which including the opened spoilers, compressor nose landing gear, flaps and slats, opened airbrakes and etc.
The price, not sure, maybe you can consult your local distributor about that.
It's a great kit but there're some fitting problems which you really need to get rid of.

- and colorscheme! one of the first Tomcat schemes I always wanted to build
my only criticism is that the seat cushions are a bit clean and plain....
It's because of this:

Calling it done after 18 days of feeling the need for speed. Mostly OOB with resin wheel sets from Def.Model and pilot/AoA from MASTER. Going to add some figures later but I need to get some good sleep first.
- Fitting is ok - some parts are perfect but some parts you need to sand & putty.
- Decals are good - thin and touch, just make sure you put more water before you slide them onto your kit.
- More options - 3 wing options + 3 tailplane position options + open/close spoilers + 3 intake ramp options + 2 nozzle options + 2 nose landing gear options
- Canopy - choose between Pikachu and Bulbasaur, of course no I am joking. Just choose between 1-pieced molded clear canopy or, clear part with plastic frame which you really save a lot of time on masking.
- Wide range of ordnance - AIM-54C, AIM-7M, AIM-9M, GBU-12, GBU-16, GBU-38 JDAM, GBU-31 JDAM, LANTIRN pod and TARPS.
Sleep time, baby! 💣🐱

Great build… any reason for the aftermarket wheels?
Nope it's just for fun. The owner of Def Model is my friend, he sent me the resin wheel when he know I am building a 1/48 F-14.

FINALLY, I've done all decals and stencil data, produced by Furball Aero-Design. The decals are one of the highest quality decals I have ever used - thin but tough with very minimum carrier films which you don't even have to worry about silvering problems.
- Resin wheel from Def.Model, Korea.
- Pitot & AoA from Master, pl.
- Figures: ZLPLA 즐프라 & Reedoak (Not in photos)
- Deck: HobbyWorld ESP / Phoenix Model (Not in photos)

AMK 1/48 F-14D updates:
Pre-shaded with SF288 & Gunze 40, this Felix is too big...my thumb is pain and tired, so that's all for the night.

As the tail fin of this F-14D is fully black so I decided to try the decals which produced by Furball Aero Design. I sprayed SF288 Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black onto both tail fins - I love the finishing so much, it's fully flat black! I begin the decal work after few layers of clear coat which will make the decals much more easier to slide.
Decals are very good, thin and tough but please remember to put a little more water on the surface otherwise it'll very hard to slide it around. The decals are perfectly settled on the tail fins after 2-3 layers of Softener.

Continue dealing with fitting problems LOL but they are easy to get rid if you take your time. I am using water-based putty and Madworks CG-001 Black CA Glue as putty to patch up those seam-lines. Can't avoid re-scribing and riveting after countless sanding. After everything is patched-up, I primed the whole thing with SF289 Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Grey primer micro filler.
Spent 3 hours just to prime the fuselage, wings, slats, flaps, tailplanes and tail fins...ahhh I hate 1/48.
After the primer surfacer dried, I wet-sand everything with 3M™ MicroFine Softback Sanding Sponge - I do this because there will be some rough surfaces caused by the primer particles due to humidity, angles of spraying or air-pressure. Thinner is one of the main reason - it's recommend to use Mr. Colour Levelling thinner instead of Mr. Colour Thinner.
After wet-sand, I will brush the whole thing again with a toothbrush which make the surface real smooth.- 7

Wheel well came with great details just like resin conversion set, you don't even need to add any extra details. Just put them together and paint.

Got one on order I can’t wait.
worth the wait ? Looks like it
well done great job to you and AMK!!
They're decals...very fine decals, you'll love it!
2 minutes ago, Thom216 said:Phenomenal level of detail in that! And those MFD decals! The pics show a color change from green to yellow, is that just the pic or are they effected by light?
Effected by light just like those ancient Chinese black magic.

Same here! I am a big fan of the DreamModel Dauphin range. At last a helicopter kit that does not only appeal to modellers of military style gear, but also to a modeller of civil helicopters like me!
I am anxiously waiting for a successor. A 1/72 Airbus Super Puma/ EC225 or an H165 maybe?
We will produce more aircrafts soon! I am sure you will love it lol.

Painted the cockpit with Gunze 308 and top-coat with Gaia Ex-03 Clear. I do this because I want a smooth and clean surface decal work.
The decals are great, very thin but very good toughness. The printing is spot on and the colours are vivid. Applicable with both Mr. Mark Setter & Mr. Mark Softer, works like a charm.70% done, continue later.

1/72 - Northrop (R)F-5E & F Tiger II by DreamModel - F-5E & F-5F released

Stop confusing by Martola, I don't think he have any F-5E stock.
Other European shops are selling between 28 Euros to 36 Euros. You can check Hannants, Panzerfux or MIG Ammo.
For the slightly low price of Malaysian market, here's the explanation - Malaysia can get direct shipping from China by using 3rd party shipping agent etc.
Shipping fees of 1kg by air freight is between $8-$10, not to mention sea freight which is much much cheaper. That's why.
One of the main reasons why the price is high is because of shipping fees I guess. VAT those for European markets and high custom taxes in US.
Unless those shops ordered a lot of products like PE, decals etc which will shared the shipping.
