mattski Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Hi Everyone, I've recently decided to get back into building kits and thought I'd go for one of the 1:32 Spitfires - awesome kit, lots of work but very satisfying. I hope you like my progress to date, any suggestions welcome. http://www.iglooa.com/spitfire/Site/Spitfi...rlin_power.html
Prop Duster Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) Very nice work I too like the engine work . your linkd site is very well done and informative of much of your work not shown here NICE Edited August 31, 2010 by Prop Duster
mattski Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 Thanks Steve, most appreciated. The engine has been the most satisfying part of the kit so far - I'm really pleased with it and may first foray's into drybrushing worked OK. Following the engine, the prop and getting that 'Spitfire shape' with the wings on was a sublime moment
Moeggo Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Nice work there... Love the weathering on the engine area. Mine has been sitting on the bench for the last few months... I do really need to start back on it!
