Tamiya's neat little 1/48 armored car in 1/48. There isn't much to say about the kit other than it is pretty great. The build goes extremely quickly as there are only a few dozen parts and they all fit perfectly. The painting and weathering took me a three or four nights, but that is only because I'm really particular. I painted the model with Gunze Mr. Color paints (Russian Green up top) a mix of brown and black below. Then tied everything together with heavy sepia washes. Details were then added with Vallejo paints, which were also used to drybrush. Gunze flat clear was applied. and then "Kursk Earth" pigment powder from one or the other of the totally interchangeable weathering product producers was applied lightly over the nearly dry clear coat. Most of the time went into painting the figure; which I think turned out pretty well. he looks a little like my grandfather!
