Hello! I thought I'd have a go at a WIP thread as I thnk this build will take me a while........this is the 1/48 Italeri Tornado ADV kit which is now quite old.........however, for my needs it isn't too shabby at all and it looks like I will enjoy it. I'm building this as RAF F.3 in No. 5 Sqn. markings. I found an old Eduard PE sheet in the box, so I will make use of that too where I think best. I have seen some incredible Tornado builds on this forum-this won't be one of them!! I just build to enjoy myself and please my own eye. But feel free to point out any glaring mistakes or simple improvements that I may be able to make.............you lot know more about this subject than I do! Here is what I am trying to make: I have begun with the office and I wanted a used look, not the pristine factory finish. The Italeri bang seats are not the best in the world so I have added some PE to them, the tub and IP's were hand painted and to my eye they look OK. Here is how they turned out.........
