My dream is that they release 1:48 F/A-18C and D legacy hornets. There is really only the old Hasegawa, which is a bit lacking in detail, Hobby boss which feels like a cheap copy of Hasegawa and Kinetic, which is a bit troublesome to build. I think the hornet would be well selling model, since so many countries use or have used them and Us Navy has endless opportunities for cool markings. I would buy atleast two of them. Or four....

''Also, drag chute fairing component is-included only for the Royal Norwegian Air Force''.
Unquote.
For your information, the drag chute fairing will also equip the future fleet
of 88 x CF-35A of the Royal Canadian Air Force !!!
😀

Also the future Finnish fleet of F-35A´s will be equiped with the drag chute!🥳

That is a great looking model! Always warms my heart so see Hawk´s in finnish markings. Did you use any aftermarket items when you updated the cockpit or was it all scratch work?

Which nations used the early F-4E? 🤔 As in what are the possible options with the early kit, only USAF operated machines in Vietnam?

Is the ring on the finnish roundel really gray or is that just something to do with the picture? It should be blue.

Markings
Markings are provided for an F-104J from 203rd Sqn JASDF, and a F-104TJ from 207th Sqn JASDF. The decals look like they are printed in house and should not pose any problems. Registration and colour density look good and carrier film is minimal.
There seems to be some registration problems atleast on the national insignias...

Moi Moi!
Just a note having seen the marking guide. The Finns changed the background colour of their Hakaristii to RLM 76, but quite often markings show them as being a different colour to the underside RLM76 ( as do these). if anything the circular disks might be slightly differnt in tone from the underside colour, but beware of ones that look very pale blue.
Can I ask what is your source? Because my sources says that background color was RLM 65 not RLM 76. RLM 65 was mixed in finland and I think that it was little bit more grey than german RLM 65. Sorry about my mistake english but I hope you understand.

Meng has only released F/A-18E/F/G Super Hornets, unless I have missed out on something 😆
