Is that Doppler radar.I see a lot of new aircraft are having it installed.Not to get off topic too much the Doppler 2 radar is used a lot by the U.S. weather service for tornadoes.In 2011 we had a really bad year for tornadoes and several hundreds people died.I was watching the tornado outbreak on the cable weather channel and their tornado expert Dr. Stephen Forbes was pointing out the tornadoes as they formed.The Doppler 2 apparently shows the debris in the air.Since that outbreak the U.S. government has deployed a lot more Doppler 2 radars and the extra time that people get has saved a lot of lives.

I recently picked up a second hand Hasegawa 1/48 Phantom FG Mk.I kit #P15 and there are 2 nose cones in it.There is one sprue G which is shown on parts diagram but also one sprue L titled FG.1 25th.which is much more bulbous and has a hatch cover and a couple small parts and is not shown in sprue diagram.What would sprue L nose be used for? TIA

Just pulled a Czechmodel 1/48 JFR Goose out of the closet and I noticed the main front windscreen in my kit is 2 parts divided at the center.Looking at the instructions it looks like it should be 1 solid piece.I also noticed that the clear sprue that they came off of has 2 tear shaped windows that I see nowhere on the plane or instructions.Windscreen looks like it fits okay.I googled and could not find a picture of clear parts.Anyone have this kit that can verify the parts for me or anyone familiar with these parts.Just wondering if someone slipped me a fast one. Thanks

I picked up a HS Buccaneer S2/B and EE Canberra B(I)8 in 1/48 scale made by Airways AFV.Anyone familar with this manufacturer,I googled the kits but failed to find anything on the net.Thanks for any opinions or info.

I have the Classic Airframes first rendition of the B-P Defiant Mk.I #95-404 which I have read is not that accurrate.I can pick up a Classic Airframes TT Mk.I really cheap.Could I use the TT Mk.I fuselage to get a more accurrate model.Thanks for any input.

Anyone familiar with Nichimo 1/48 Hawker Hunter F6.Could not find much googleing it but for someone saying it was one of the worst kits they had ever seen.Some of Nichimos kits are not that bad with a little detailing.Is it totally hopeless or can something be done with it.Thanks for any comments or opinions.

I have a Hasegawa Typhoon Cardoor kit with the resin extras that has been opened but all the inner bags are still sealed and the box is in excellant shape.Is this worth more to collectors.I have rarely seen one of these come up for sale on any of the different forums or on EBAY.I offered to trade it to someone on here for a kit but he said that he would be ripping me off.

Thanks for the replies.I live in the U.S. and someone list one on E-BAY every few weeks and I could not find any reviews on this kit.You would think one of the larger manufacturers would make a new kit of a popular subject like this.

Does anyone know about the Arba Sea Hornet kit and how it compares to the Classic Airframes kit.I have googled it but cannot find anything.

I picked up a Ki61 Tony that was missing the clear parts sprue.I found a canopy but do not have the gunsight.I have a couple of Zeros with resin cockpits with extra gunsights.Were the Tonys and Zeros gun sights the same.
