Skii
G'day all I picked this kit up for a bit of a bargain, Hope Vince doesn't mind me using the image from his site can anyone tell me more about it? - i notice it's missing the HIDASS stuff, not sure about the sponsons, I know they tend to be all based on the 'a' model in this scale any whirlybird experts here with more of a clue than i have !?! hatchet
Let's see some sprue-pic's John, but I've heard bad things about this kit, sorry As far as I'm aware, no 1/72 Longbow have the correct sponsons (they have some sort of snappy acronym, but I can't remember it). The one that comes closest is the Italeri kit, having the Longbow-prototype sponsons.

Skii
Are the sponsons pointed or square at the rear end? hi Dave square, and they have their own separate little sprue J
hatchet
hi Dave square, and they have their own separate little sprue J At least that's a good sign! Here is a nice picture of the port sponson of a Saraf on Kfir's Lair. The Saraf have some extras compared to the normal Longbow, but the sponsons are the same.

Skii
Nah - false alarm chaps, I've unwrapped and fully inspected, these sponsons are WAY undersized and definately 'a' type. This is NOT a longbow, even with my limited Apache knowledge this is blatantly clear
