Glazy
For me one of my favourite craft in the Star Wars films is the Tie Fighter. The first clip I ever seen of Star Wars was the Millenium Falcon escaping from the Death Star and the Tie Fighters attacking. I just loved the design of the ship, those cool black helmets the pilots wore, and that unmistakable sound effect as the fighters flew by. And even though the following films in the original trilogy added new Imperial ships the standard Tie Fighter appeared in all 3 films as one of the main ship in the Imperial navy. This is a model I made many years ago that I recently dug out and figured I'd do a picture with. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a44/Glazy...nt=DSCF6489.jpg
Obi-Jiff Kenobi
Ooh, nice pic, nice model. Was that the AMT kit, that included 2 identical TIEs?
Mike
Cool pic. I did Darth Vader's TIE back in the day... I'm waiting now for Fine Molds to get to grips with converting the rest of the smaller kits to 1:48... 1:48 Millennium Falcon anyone?

Obi-Jiff Kenobi
I want a 1/18 Millennium Falcon, to go with the Star Wars action figures. It'd be around 6 feet long... I could scratchbuild one, all I need to do is buy the Fine Molds one to use as a reference, and multiply all the dimensions by four
