Glazy
I made this kit many years ago. I shot these pics on my old Yashica 35mm, I took my asthma inhaler and fired a couple of jets of it into the beam of my slide projector behind the model, then took a half second exposure of the model. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a44/Glazy...nt=aliens-1.jpg http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a44/Glazy...rent=aliens.jpg

dahut
The first movie that ever gave me adult nightmares was 'Alien'. I still cringe when I see those beasties and will not build one. Mucho superbo, dude. Looks awesome

Mike
Which Alien was that? Very effective use of lighting & salbutamol I've got a 12" kit of the one from Alien 3, which I built during my mid 20s - that's the one based on a dog, so it has dog style rear legs. Took bloody ages to paint, cos I highlighted each segment of its body individually in 4 progressive layers. Both my cats have tried to kill it over the years, but I've always managed to re-build him... last was Mai the psychic kitten, who broke off his tail & snapped his ankle. You can imagine what she got called for that!

John Laidlaw
last was Mai the psychic kitten, who broke off his tail & snapped his ankle. You can imagine what she got called for that! Um, "OI! Mai! NOOOOOOO!" Of course, those that don't remember/never experienced The Fast Show will be left wondering what I've been drinking... Col.
Yip, that looks amazing. Any chance of a normal shot to see it in real light? Loved those Halcyon Alien kits, wish I'd bought more when they were around.

I'll try and sort one out that was taken at the time on my 35mm Camera as opposed to my Digital !!
