Scandinavian Airlines or SAS is the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and is the largest airline in Scandinavia with its headquarters in Solna Sweden. The MD-82 is a twin-engine, short- to medium-range, single-aisle commercial jet airliners. The MD-80 series are a lengthened and updated DC-9 airliner. The MD-80 is available from Minicraft, and as there is no external differences in the MD-80, 81, 82, or 83 it can be used from the box.

In 1994 the winter Olympics where held in Lillehammer Norway and SAS painted 2 of its MD-82s in special liveries.

The decals come on a single sheet and as expected are first class. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The decals are sharply printed and comprehensive with all the airframe details and stencils you will need for the build.

Conclusion

This is another cracking set from Lima November, and the special livery for the Lillehammer Olympics will look nice alongside the Braathens 737 Olympic special Lima November also do!
