dr_gn
Now another problem - decal blistering. I put the final clearcoat on after a panel line wash, and the aftermarket decals (the "Silk") has micro-blistered. It didn't happen on previous applications of clearcoat. Any ideas what to do? It only really shows up if yuo look closely, or at certain lighting angles. Current plan is to let the clearcoat harden for a week and try flatting it down with that 3M sponge stuff. I think it is the decal itself that has blistered though, rather than the paint. I tried slicing through the decal with a blade and appying Microsol, but it didn't have much of an effect. It's one of those where it's just about acceptable, but a bit of a shame it's not right. If I try to correct it it might ruin the whole lot.
