Graham77
Hi all, I have recently been doing some research into early BEA liveries for the DC3 Group Build and contacted the BA Heritage Centre to see if they had any good stuff. They may be struggling with my particular request but the Centre has recently relocated and will soon be up and running with quite a lot of aircraft photos, models, uniforms etc and what seems like a really nice chap in charge. I am hoping to nip up to Heathrow for a visit in the next month or two and wondered if anyone else was interested in having a look aswell? BA Heritage Centre Details Let me know if anyone is interested and best times for a trip and we can go from there. As a rule I think it is open office hours Monday to Friday although for an organised visit they will open on a Saturday. Happy Modelling folks Graham Hi Graham, The Site is here http://www.britishairways.com/travel/museu...on/public/en_us I did visit the old location near TBD nay Hatton Cross in my BA days. There were lots of pics/posters from times gone by, desk top models a George Medal from one of the Manchester Hosties, old literature and sick bags etc. Don't expect a huge/large display! If you organised a group visit to the old local you could only have gone in 3 at a time! Credit to the volunteers who run it btw. Adrian
