Doug Rogers
I can't even see a seam Antoine, I'd tend to leave it alone, maybe mask it with a bit of weathering.
ollieholmes
I still have those for the PRIV, PR1G, and PR1F, I'd get them from hannants. Hannants are only now showing the PRID conversion now.
Antoine
By the way, does anyone have a pic or two of this aircraft, or of another type C? The only reference I got is the profile of the instruction sheet...
Antoine
Decals. A coat of klir, then decals, then two coats of pebeo matt varnish. Don't really like decals, I prefer much more masking/painting. The decals does not support gunze's products very well, wich are a little bit too strong. I'm not really satisfied, I'll try to hide this mess with the weathering.
Antoine
Next: In general, this is where I do everything wrong! Just to prove it: Few traces of wash in the structure line, but much more where it shouldn't be! Not exactly a tribute to the work of an RAF erk... I must admit that the kit nearly did her first flight a few minutes ago, from the 5th floor. Going on to the other wing, and then to the top. Antoine
On its wheels I've nearly finished. Still, have to: - Glue the nav lights, and camera windows. - Give a few touch of brush here and there (Nav lights, etc...) - Finish the weatering (Pastels, alu, etc...) - Put in place the radio wire. - give it a last overall varnish coat. p-26luvr
A magnificently done model. And such interesting markings. Over here on this side of the pond I tend to do standard paint schemes on Spitfires because I can't find info on the more exotic ones. A super job. Thanks for the posting. Carl T and really That's too nice of you. Certainly the dirtiest PR spit ever seen in the RAF... On most books I have about those aircrafts, 99% of them are 100% clean. But still, I didn't found any pics of 76, and the profile show at least some very big exhaust traces.

Antoine
This is the end. Just something to correct on the right wing, and then a coat (Or two) of varnish. More pics tomorrow.
