SAS BAe146/ Avro RJ decal sheet.

1:144 decals from Lima November.

Scandinavian Airlines was founded in 1946 and has its headquarters in Solna Sweden. During 2007 SAS had to ground its fleet of DHC-8-q400s so to cover these aircraft SAS leased 10 different BAE146/ RJs from various other airlines.

The BAe 146 is a British 4 engine medium size jet airliner; it was produced between 1983 and 2002 and is noted for its quiet operation. The BAe 146 was built with 3 fuselage lengths, the shortest 100srs, medium length 200srs, and the longest 300srs. This decal set will allow you to build a number of leased SAS BAe146/ RJs so you will either need to use a Welsh kit, or modify a couple of the Revell kits.

This is a screen printed sheet and covers a number of the BAE146/ RJs used by SAS, to my eye you should be able to get 3 models from this sheet but you will need to source the windows, doors and airframe stencils. These can be got from aftermarket companies, but i would buy the later FlyBe Revell kit as the decal in the box has all this detail on. As is normal for Lima November the instructions are in colour and very simple to follow.

Note: the Grey looking "Flying for Scandinavian Airlines" and "Scandinavian Airlines" are a metalic silver on the decal sheet

Conclusion

This is a nice little set, as I said above looking I think you should be able to build 3 models from this set, and I would recommend you grab some of the newer FlyBe Revell models to cover the missing window and doors.
