James V
Spent the day with my lovely Fiancee, brother, and best mates at the last show of the year for us. It was nice to dust off the 7D and 100 - 400 and give it some action Good laughs all round and some lovely flying in some 28 degree heat! You cannot believe that it is October! Roll on the cold weather and then some Low level action! but for now...

Yorkshirepud
Hi James Fantastic pictures mate !! Would this be the "Lincolnshires Lancaster Association" Open Day at RAF Conningsby ? If so, I'm sorry to miss it. I am a lapsed member of the association, but have been thinking for a while of re joining. After seeing your fantastic photos, I am doubly decided to rejoin now !! If you don't mind, I have some pictures from years past I could post, if you would be interested ....... don't want to hijack your thread though, so I thought I would ask first !! Simon. James V
Simon, stick away.... These were actually taken on the outide rather than in though!!
Yorkshirepud
Ooh !! ...... that's cheatin' ......... hee hee !! It's not an exclusive club though ......... fair play to ya' mister !! Them planes are a national treasure, preserved for us all to see. The photos are a few years old, so the markings are all different on the Lanc, Spitties and Hurricane. Also they are photographs, so I will have to dig them out and scan them. Give me a day or so mate. Cheers . Simon.

Miggers
Been there myself(yes,I'm a member of the Lincs Lanc Association too). One of the best days out you can have for £8 per years subs, plus two excellent magazines to boot. Not as crisp or as good as your shots I'm afraid, they were shot using a compact: Imagine the "music" from this lot,we had Merlin power all the way that day: Video clips shot there(speakers up loud is obligatory): http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k307/mig...lips/?start=all Sorry for hi-jacking Mark

ursa_major
Fantastic set James, beautifully lit & sharp enough to shave with! It was plenty warm even at 0745 when I arrived on camp, dread to think what the heat-haze would have been like on the ramp later in the day. I just went home to change into my shorts & went for ice-cream
