That's lookin' good. You never said it was a white metal jobbie. Will be watching this one. . .

In fact I'm watching so many in this GB, I may not have time for my own entry. . .

Hi

After a an hour or two made some steady progress.

TACR.jpg

The kit so far has been soldered together then a few (thick) coats of alclad primer/filler. then a top coat of desert pink!

Right, I got a bit carried away and forgot to take some pics, mind you saying that there is not a lot to the kit any way! And I did not have to wait for any glue to dry as it was 99% soldered together.

All comments welcome.

Respect is due to you Jon for tackling a white metal kit :worthy:

I'd tried one once and vowed 'never again'. Is the secret to solder? I tried to assemble mine using superglue and Araldite - got there eventually, but what a nightmare!

Thanks ClifF

This is the first one I have soldered, and I dont think I will go back to glue of any sort, the bonus of solder is an instant strong joint, and if you get it wrong, just heat it up again!
